Why Boundary Street?
Boundary Street represented an opportunity to put my sector-focused experience into use in the lower middle market in a highly entrepreneurial fashion. Simply put, when I found driven, like-minded, and genuine people like Rashad Kawmy and Pat Hutchison I knew I had found partners I wanted to build something special with.
Describe your professional journey
After graduating from University of Wisconsin, I began my career as a CPA at the Financial Accounting Standards Board in Connecticut. From there, I transitioned into the deal environment at Deloitte’s M&A due diligence group in Chicago before moving over to CapitalSource, where I worked with Rashad and Pat in the Leveraged Finance Group with a focus on digital infrastructure. My background in both accounting and finance has provided me with an excellent toolkit to think critically and manage the credit profiles and growth prospects of our portfolio investments.
What do you do in your spare time?
Education:
University of Wisconsin – Madison, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy
In my spare time I enjoy getting out on the golf course, though I will say that golf and Boundary Street are in a race to see which can be the cause of more grey hairs! I am a fan of all things Wisconsin sports (Packers, Bucks, Badgers, Brewers, etc) and enjoy reading, traveling and getting out to concerts and comedy shows with my wife. Nothing makes me happier than spending time with family, most specifically my hilarious nieces and nephews.
